# 5. Links and Share Buttons

Decide where event titles and images link to, and how share buttons look.

1. Open **Content > Detail Settings**.
2. Set **Detail Page Link Type** to **Single Page** (the event's page in The Events Calendar) or **None (no link action)**.
3. Choose the **Target**: **Current Tab**, **New Tab**, **Parent** or **Top**.
4. Turn on **Add rel="nofollow" to item links** if search engines should not follow them.

## Share buttons

Turn on **Social Share** in **Content > Content Fields**, pick the networks in **Sharing Media** and an **Icon Shape**. Set their colours in **Style > Social Share**. With a Custom card, add Social Share to **Sortable Event Elements** to place the buttons.
