# 1. Pre-made Templates

Switch a widget to a ready-made design, then adjust its colours and fields.

Grid, List, Minimal List, Table and Accordion each have three pre-made templates. Carousel, Slider, Masonry and Timeline use the Grid templates. The templates are in the free version; the per-field options are Pro.

1. Open **Content > Template Styles**.

2. Set **Template Type** to **Pre-made Templates**.
3. Pick **Template One**, **Template Two** or **Template Three** in **Template Style**. A preview of the design shows under the setting.
4. Under **Theme Color Scheme**, set the **Non Featured** and **Featured** colours. Featured is used for events marked as featured in The Events Calendar.
5. If the design has a date strip, set **Date Strip Background**, **Date Strip Gradient** and **Gradient Direction**.

## Choose the fields (Pro)

Under **Content Fields** in the same section, switch each part on or off: **Event Category**, **Event Title** (with a length limit), **Event Content** (excerpt or limited content), **Event Venue**, **Event Price** (with **Price Position**) and **Read More Button** (with its label).

## Why the Style tab disappears

While a widget uses a pre-made template, its **Style** tab is hidden, because those controls style the Custom card. Switch **Template Type** back to **Custom** and the tab returns, with your settings unchanged. Table and Accordion keep their Style tab: their table and item sections also style the pre-made templates.
